B is for...(?)

This whole alphabet thing is actually quite hard. You’ll be lucky if we even get to ‘G’ but all we can do is try. I haven’t a clue what we could talk about for the letter ‘B’. I was going to talk about how next year will be the ‘beginning of the end’ and what we would change upon looking back, but there isn’t much substance to that even if I did write down everything I would change from this past school year.

Fight Against Palm Oil

Some time ago, just before David Cameron became Prime Minister, I sent away an already typed out ‘essay’ on the effects of bio fuels from a Lush paper. Even though this will help the planet in some ways such as reducing carbon dioxide built up in the atmosphere, it also contributes to the ongoing process of deforestation in Malaysia and in Africa. This deforestation affects all of the wild animal population that lives in these places. This deforestation is due to palm oil plantations and an ‘ingredient’ for bio fuels that will soon be used to fuel houses and cars. Orang-utans have approximately under five years left before they become extinct and that was said several years ago.

Irn Bru 4 U!

So right now I was mean't to be eating my dinner, but instead I decided to draw my glass which had Irn-Bru in it (See picture). I also spilt some of the irn-bru in my dinner but had no profound effect thankfully. It looked bare so I added my fork. The bird and sandwich is irrelevant.

Om nom nom nom, back to dinner :)
